Where plissé screens work best

Plissé screens are ideal for balcony doors and openings that are used frequently throughout the day. They open easily, fold discreetly to the side and offer comfortable everyday use.

They are particularly well suited when you want:

  • easy passage to a balcony or courtyard
  • practical use on a door that opens and closes frequently
  • a discreet appearance when the screen is left open
  • a solution that combines functionality and aesthetics

In homes where the balcony door is used many times a day, the plissé is often the most practical choice.

Frequently asked questions

Is a plissé screen suitable for a balcony door? +

Yes. In most cases, the plissé is one of the most practical solutions for balcony doors, especially where there is frequent everyday use.

When should I choose plissé and when a flat-mesh screen? +

If ease of use in daily life is what matters most to you, the plissé usually has the edge. If you place greater importance on visibility and the appearance of the opening, a flat-mesh solution may be a better fit.

Which plissé is best for a large opening? +

For large openings, double-panel solutions are usually preferred. The more advanced the model, the better it can handle more demanding applications. For very large openings, the plissé Zero is also available with sliding panels.

What should I look out for before choosing a plissé? +

Design, material quality, the company's expertise, the ability to carry out quick repairs and the availability of spare parts, so that any repair can be done properly when needed.
